Ensuring "food safety" is greatly dependent on environmental inspections during the manufacturing process. Many food incidents are caused by the contamination of microorganisms, foreign substances, and allergens during production. Relying solely on raw material and product inspections conducted through random sampling is not sufficient for adequate management.
